Conditions of Travel
Seats
Individual seats are reserved in the coaches and these can be requested when you make your reservation. If the actual seats have already been sold the nearest to them will be allocated.
Gratuities
Gratuities are left to the discretion of passengers and usually reflect the standard of service received.
Smoking
In the interest of passenger safety and comfort all our tours are completely NON-SMOKING.
Itineraries
It is, of course, our intention to operate all itineraries as published. However, owing to roadworks or diversions it may be necessary from time to time to reroute journeys. Special events en-route may also cause timings to be altered and the closure of buildings, normally open to the public, for state or other reasons may also require itineraries to be changed or cancelled at short notice. Tappins Coaches will do their utmost to advise all passengers prior to thc departure of the tour concerned of any such amendments but cannot be held responsible for any changes or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond their control.
Children
Children aged 3 years or less are carried free on all day tours on the condition they do not occupy a seat. Children between the ages of 4 years and 14 years are entitled to the child fares stated in the brochure. Persons aged 16 or under cannot travel unless someone over 21 years travels with them
Alterations
Alterations to any pre-booked tickets can only be made when the tickets already issued are returned to our office in person or by post.
Cancellations
If tickets are cancelled 7 days or more in advance of departure, a cancellation fee of 10% of the total price of the tickets will be charged. (Tickets including Theatre Tickets and entrance tickets once purchased are NON-REFUNDABLE). NO refunds are payable on cancellations made within 6 days or less of the date of departure, unless we are able to resell the tickets on your behalf, in which case an administration fee of 10% of the total price of the tickets will be deducted. NO TICKETS CAN BE OFFERED FOR RESALE UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO OUR OFFICE. Tappins Coaches reserves the right to sell empty seats before offering cancelled seats for sale.
Date Changes
Tappins Coaches regrets that it cannot under any circumstances change a date of travel once a ticket has been purchased. If passengers wish to change, they must cancel the first tickets and make a totally separate second purchase.
Insurance
Other than normal passenger liability as required under the Road Traffic Acts, insurance is not included for passengers or their belongings.
Alcohol
ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED ON BOARD OUR COACHES.
Price includes
The price shown is generally the coach fare only and EXCLUDES entrance fees en-route or at destination unless indicated otherwise.
